About

Monica Rus is a Romanian artist and a certified integrative psychotherapist. In 2020, she completed a Master of Fine Art degree from Ovidius University in Constanta. The imagery of Monica is realistic but also sophisticated and fluid, featuring a continuous exploration and a curiosity for color, with the intention of evoking emotions and states of meditation and relaxation. Her creative process is deeply inspired by nature and human emotions, and lately she likes to play with textures, geometric forms, and minimalistic compositions. She considers herself more of an artist who practices psychotherapy, being always preoccupied with the creative possibilities of the psyche and the power of regeneration and healing through art. Monica has participated in numerous group exhibitions, and some of her works can be found in private collections in England, Austria and Romania. She currently lives and works in Constanta, Romania.
